We were grateful enough to witness the wisdom of Venerable Monk Bhikkhu Pannakara in Spotsylvania, VA this past Thursday.
Although their physical walk is coming to an end next week the real walk will continue on internally.
Their mission fails if we do not make the consistent and continuous decision to choose peace, hold each other accountable, and choose kindness even when it’s hard.
The monks and their mission have inspired us all in ways we’ll never forget.

![I’ve had some interesting encounters with humans around my presence on social media and being called an “influencer” in what feels like a negative light.

I’m not sure people realize that choosing to create content for a specific mission, especially in today’s marketing landscape, is both deeply fulfilling and very lucrative.
Also, not everyone who has influence considers themselves an influencer.
I personally prefer content creator and thought leader because of the authenticity and intentionality behind what I do. This isn’t random posting. This is messaging, resonance, and connection with real people.
Let me be clear. Just because you’ve had a negative experience with influencers does not mean every content creator with a growing community is superficial or performative.
Having that stance does, however, reveal something.
In short, it often points to a confused supporter or someone projecting unresolved feelings.
And that’s not cute. 🙁
I implore you to spend less time putting people pursuing their dreams down and more time going after what actually brings you joy.
Look inward.🧘🏽♀️
Figure out what’s being triggered when you see someone build an online space, monetize their voice, and choose to facilitate healing.
But ima need you to find something safe to do, because bringing that energy to me in 2026 is not very safe of you, love. 🥹

Most people think they’re unmotivated but they’re not. They’re unsafe inside their own timelines.
When your nervous system believes you’re behind, every action feels heavy, rushed, or forced. Even the things you want start to feel like pressure.
Inner safety feels like movement without panic.
Creation without attachment.

I stopped letting imaginary timelines dictate my worth.

Not because we’re perfect or because the year was easy, but because this connection taught me what safety feels like when it’s mutual.🫂
We met at 16. Same blood, same fire, same frequency, but different timing.
Back then, I wanted closeness before I truly knew how to be with myself, and I think we both felt that tension.
This year was different because we didn’t force closeness, we allowed it. It flowed through late conversations, shared motherhood, mutual respect, and boundaries that didn’t bruise either of us.✨
She softened me without dimming me, and I encouraged her to shine brighter. I stayed fierce without being guarded, and she remained gentle while fully embracing her strength. That balance changed everything.🌸
What made this bond different was the absence of performance.
No proving, no posturing, no earning a seat. Just presence, honesty, and the freedom to be whole humans alongside each other.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t as alone as I had convinced myself I was. I was just used to connections with conditions. So I stopped over-explaining myself, earning belonging, and mistaking intensity for intimacy.

I chose experiences I could never get back later.
